Wonderful colors in this vintage bakelite bangle -- a marbled sherbet peach and pale orange that some refer to as "tequila sunrise." 1/4" thick walls are very lightly domed. Bakelite MARLOWE Cosmetic Bangle Bracelet Vintage black bakelite bangle bracelet has seven "compartments" hollowed into the side, and when new would have been filled with various cosmetics, powder and a tiny mirror. The compartments are covered with a decorative gold-tone and black enameled metal band that slides around, or can be removed entirely. Two of the compartments are empty and the remaining have some of the cosmetic remaining. The little mirror has a bit of silvering damage to the side. Embossed with the "Marlowe Cosmetic Bracelet / Parisienne" and Eiffel Tower logo inside. 3/4" wide, 1/4" thick, 2 1/2" inside diameter. Excellent condition apart from a very small fleabite ding to an inner rim. - $275

Green Bakelite Hoop Drop Earrings
The photo cannot do justice to how very cool these vintage bakelite hoop earrings are! In a color of green grass, these clipbacks have a 3/8" round bead at the ear, and a dangling hoop that of graduated thickness. The hoop measures 1 1/8" diameter, and varies from 3/16" thickness at the top to a nice fat 3/8" thickness across the bottom. Excellent condition apart from mild plating wear to metal ear clips. - $50

Carved Chocolate Brown Bakelite Swan Pin
Beautifully carved vintage brooch features a waterbird -- looks like a swan or maybe a heron -- in swimming posture with a backdrop of leaves. This brooch is a chocolate brown color, and guaranteed to be vintage bakelite (easily passing the Simichrome test, and possessing the distinctive bakelite fragrance).
