This is a breathtaking and romantic piece by FLYING COLORS, circa 1980's. Molded pink roses are attached to mint green hooks, accented with mint green cup-like leaves. Superb and unusual ceramic theme necklace from FLYING COLORS features the beloved counting rhyme "This Little Piggy Went to Market."

This piece is depicted in Ann Pitman's book Inside the Jewelry Box: Volume 3. All five pigs are represented, as well as the directional signs "Market" and "Home." (I love the stay-at-home piggy, who is reading "Hamlet.") The largest pig measures about 2" height, and the total length of the necklace is 18". Large irregularly shaped turquoise blue beads are strung on sturdy wire filament. Screw-barrel clasp closure. Mark appears on back of one of the pigs. Condition is excellent! - $400
