Parrot Pearls Piggies To Market Theme Pins
Love these artisan-crafted ceramic pins by PARROT PEARLS, a San Francisco Bay area company no longer in operation. One pin depicts three pigs heading "To Market" in a riff on the nursery rhyme "To Market To Market To Buy a Fat Pig" or possibly the counting rhyme "This Little Piggy." I've included a second Parrot Pearls pig pin headed in the opposite direction (he is not an exact match, with pink polka dots instead of splotches, but he is very close and I think these look cute together). To Market pin measures 2 7/8" across; single pig measures 1 5/8" across. Excellent condition. - $60

Flying Colors Ceramic Christmas-Palooza Necklace
This fabulous ceramic Christmas necklace features a Christmas tree (3"), a Santa and stocking (both 2"), and festively decorated gift packages (1.5"). Often, the Flying Colors Christmas pieces would feature one theme, such a necklace with the gifts, or one of stockings, but a piece with this variety of items is one I haven't had in stock before, and why I call it a "Palooza." Complemented with tubular beads in Christmas colors and peppermint stripe, round beads in green and silver metal. 21" length. Beads are strung on sturdy nylon filament; screw-barrel clasp closures is in working condition. Overall condition is excellent, with a few tiny paint nicks/rough spots (tips of trees/package ribbons, one along the edge of the tree). These are not conspicuous. - $320

Smiling ceramic dog is white with brown and black patches. Perhaps a spaniel? Pin by Ruby Z measures approximately 3 3/4" across. Glued on metal pinback. Condition is good overall apart from normal crazing to the white, and some fleabite edge nicks in spots (inconspicuous to the casual observer). - $45

Wonderful ceramic necklace design by Parrot Pearls features a galloping race horse center pendant (3 1/2" length), green and white checkered horseshoes (1 1/2"), irregularly shaped orange-red and white rounds, green and white-checkered tubular beads. 22" length with metal screw-barrel clasp and safety chain. Elements are strung on sturdy nylon filament. Very good overall condition apart from light crazing to white elements, and a slight, inconspicuous paint scrape at the tip of the horse's tail. - $400

This is a breathtaking and romantic piece by FLYING COLORS, circa 1980's. Molded pink roses are attached to mint green hooks, accented with mint green cup-like leaves. Pink heart beads and white rounds are strung on sturdy wire filament; mint green rounds and rectangular white signature bead are located near the metal screw-barrel clasp. Very cute artisan necklace features ceramic striped zebra pendants and nice fat black rounds. Zebras are about 1 1/4" across; rounds are 1/2" across. One zebra is marked drv on back. 1940s Elzac Ceramic Sleepy Lion Face Pin Very rare, hard to find Elzac lion pin features a yellow ceramic face with handpainted features, a furry mane and glued-on purple bow tie. Face measures just over 2" across; fur lends several extra inches of width. C-clap pin. Some surface crazing, and possible paint loss to one eyebrow. There is an inked inscription on the wooden back which reads "Lexis" and "17/5/43" which appears to be a European style date. This could be the artist's inscription or may be a gift or owner inscription. (See photos). - $180
