Smiling ceramic dog is white with brown and black patches. Perhaps a spaniel? Pin by Ruby Z measures approximately 3 3/4" across. Glued on metal pinback. Condition is good overall apart from normal crazing to the white, and some fleabite edge nicks in spots (inconspicuous to the casual observer). - $45

Parrot Pearls Ceramic Race Horse Necklace
Wonderful ceramic necklace design by Parrot Pearls features a galloping race horse center pendant (3 1/2" length), green and white checkered horseshoes (1 1/2"), irregularly shaped orange-red and white rounds, green and white-checkered tubular beads. 22" length with metal screw-barrel clasp and safety chain. Elements are strung on sturdy nylon filament. Very good overall condition apart from light crazing to white elements, and a slight, inconspicuous paint scrape at the tip of the horse's tail. - $400

1940's Equestrian Theme Fur Clip
This unique double-pronged fur clip, circa 1940's, could also be worn as a brooch, and depicts a horseman or horsewoman riding to the hounds, jumping over a fence (or perhaps competing in a steeplechase?). Rhodium plate over base metal with enameling and pink rhinestone. Unmarked, maker unknown. Measures just under 2" across; excellent condition apart from a small ding in the enameling. - $125
Ceramic Zebra and Bead Necklace
Very cute artisan necklace features ceramic striped zebra pendants and nice fat black rounds. Zebras are about 1 1/4" across; rounds are 1/2" across. One zebra is marked drv on back. Elements are securely strung on nylon filament; spring-ring metal clasp. 17" length. Very good condition with some slight roughness along edges (can be felt rather than seen). - $60
1940s Elzac Bunky the Monkey with Pink Lucite Tail Pin From the 1940s, when wartime meant innovative jewelry designs from alternative (non-metal) materials like ceramic and lucite. This whimsical ceramic monkey (advertised as Bunky the Monkey) by Elzac has handpainted facial features, a little cap and curly pink lucite tail. 2 1/2" x 2 3/4". Metal c-clasp and plastic pinback is glued onto back. Very good vintage condition, apart from mild surface crazing. - $200
Swoboda Lion Pin
One of Swoboda's harder-to-find pieces, a lion with genuine jade body, turquoise chip eyes and carnelian chip main. A tiny pearl is set at the tip of the tail. Brushed goldtone setting; marked Swoboda, Inc. on reverse. Measures 1 3/8" across. A couple tiny spots of metal wear, but otherwise excellent condition with all stones intact. - SOLD

Fantastic 1940's ceramic cow has a sleepy goofy expression. Unmarked Elzac, a California Pottery company that produced a number of these whimsical figural animal and people pins. This little gal has painted facial features and um, other features . . .and a tuft of fringed "hair" on top of head. 3" height. Excellent condition apart from very light surface crazing; pin back appears to be a replacement and is heavily glued though secure. - $100
