1970s Modernist Mocha Marbled & Amber Lucite Pendant Necklace
This fantastic modernist lucite pendant necklace from the 1970's is huge, featuring symmetrical curved inserts of marbled lucite -- one a swirled mocha cream, the other a semi-translucent root beer, with goldtone walls and open backing. A number of jewelry designers created pieces like this, including Lanvin, Pierre Cardin, Trifari, and they are enjoying a renewed popularity. This pendant is hefty and measure over 3" height; goldtone snake chain measures 18 1/2" and has a spring-ring clasp. Unsigned, but may be a designer piece as the quality is excellent.
