This striking set from Austria may be Schoffel, and shares remarkably similar characteristics with Schreiner. This magnificent large 2 1/2" domed brooch features smoky and glass oval stones, reverse-mounted, opaque black chatons and amber-colored glass chatons, also reverse-mounted. Unfoiled and openbacked oval stones (the topmost center stone is foiled), with quality tiered and reinforced construction. Setting is silvertone. Matching clip earrings measure 1 1/8". Beautiful like-new condition. Marked "Made in Austria."
