Enormous Vintage Hattie Carnegie Purple Silk Flower Brooch
This huge and showy flower pin, circa 1960s, was made in several different colors. This one features soft silk strands in royal purple, with a center painted pink and mint green button. Michelle Obama has been photographed wearing an orange version of this pin on the campaign trail. Though unsigned, this has been attributed to designer Hattie Carnegie and is quite hard to find. Flower measures 4 1/2" diameter; total height is slightly over 6". Gold tone metal stem and pin back with locking mechanism. Excellent condition. - $280
ENID COLLINS Peach Colored Papier Mache Flower Pin Brooch
This wonderful papier mache brooch is unsigned, but most definitely the work of Enid Collins of Texas. Collins is best known for her decorative purses, but her papier mache jewelry is harder to find and quite popular with collectors. This peach-colored dimensional flower pin is set with a faceted amber-colored plastic center. The reverse is painted green, and the pinback is secured beneath mache. Normally her jewelry bears her EC initials, but this one missed getting marked. 3 1/4" diameter; excellent condition. - $185

4" enameled metal flower power pin is nicely made, with three tiers of petals in orange, beige and pink, a center blue knob and green enameled stem and leaves. Unmarked. Very good condition with enamel mostly intact. - $20

Shoestrings Ceramic Pink Pansy Necklace & Earrings
Circa 1980s, this fun ceramic pink pansy flower necklace and matching pierced earrings is by Shoestrings. This whimsical jewelry is similar to the Ruby Z, Flying Colors and Parrot Pearls type of ceramics. The pansy on the necklace centerpiece measures 2 3/4" with color-coordinated beads on leather string. 24 1/2" total length with lobster-claw clasp; marked Shoestrings on back of center flower. Post pierced earrings are still on original card and measure 1 1/2". Excellent condition. - $40

Parrot Pearls Ceramic Anthurium Necklace
Fabulous, bold and big -- this Parrot Pearls ceramic whimsy necklace features two large anthurium flowers (red cups with yellow stamens), accented by green leaf pendants, round black beads with white polka dots, and solid black rounds graduated in size. Anthuriums are approximately 3 1/4" in length. Beads are strung on secure nylon filament. 19" length with metal screw-barrel clasp; signature bead is situated near clasp. Excellent condition. - $300

Unmarked Enid Collins papier mache pin, circa 1960s, features a white, black and yellow mushroom. I love the subtle details, such as the folded-up cap revealing the yellow underside, the polka dots on the cap, and black texture marks on the shaped stem. 3 3/8" height; locking pin mechanism is papier-mached over on reverse. French Red & Green Glass Floral Spray Pin
This is one incredible floral spray pin brooch, set with clusters of tiny opaque red glass cabochons and emerald green chatons and leafy stalks of foiled open-backed emerald green marquise rhinestones. The sculptural wires really give the piece dimension. 3 1/2" height with trombone clasp; marked Made in France along stem. This may be a CIS (Cissy Zoltowska) or Roger Jean-Pierre piece. - $180
