1940s Pot Metal, Enamel & Rhinestone Uncle Sam's Hat
Great patriotic piece from the 1940s, unmarked but possibly Coro -- Uncle Sam's hat in pot metal, set with rows of clear rhinestones, alternating with rows of raised rectangles enameled in metallic red to resemble rhinestone baguettes. The hat band is enameled blue, leaving the silvertone metal of the raised stars showing through. A beautifully made piece; 1 1/4" height. Excellent condition with all stones present and sparkling (camera exaggerates the yellowish tinge). - $70
