Art Nouveau Sterling Cloisonne Enamel Pin ~ Hummingbird
This wonderful, detailed pin brooch is done in a cloisonne enamel with smooth painted sky and clouds background, and depicts a ruby-throated hummingbird, a bee or other flying insect, and tree branches. The border is done in a purple and yellow leafy vine motif. It has a very Art Nouveau look to it, although it is also reminiscent of some of the Chinese enameleds. Reverse is marked S925 and has the old style clutch on the pinback. 1 5/8" height. Excellent condition with enameling intact. - $85
TOSHIKANE Japan Sterling & Porcelain God Pin Pendant
The Toshikane sterling and enameled porcelain jewelry are works of art! In the same vein as the Seven Gods of Fortune bracelet, this pin pendant features an allegorical character done in relief and enameled -- a seated figure playing a stringed instrument. The colors are so varied and vivid against the black background. I love the violet colored robe against the pale golden trousers; the detail is just perfection. Marked Toshikane Japan on reverse. This can be worn as a pin, but there is also a metal loop at the top so it can be suspended on a necklace chain as well. 1 5/8" diameter; pristine condition. - $95

This large showy bow brooch hails from the 1940's and would look great on a blazer or coat. Sterling vermeil, set with a large oval-cut cerulean blue center stone, and rows of cerulean blue chatons. Sunshine Polishing Cloth for Jewelry
SUNSHINE Polishing Cloth is a staple in my jewelry care kit and does a fantastic job gently cleaning and polishing silver and other jewelry. This is my "go to" cleaning method as it does not involve messy creams, and it does not completely strip patina as some other cleaning methods do.
This is a non-scratch, disposable cloth (when it becomes black, you'll want to replace it with a clean fresh cloth). It works with most metals but I don't recommend it for plated brass. Order several to have on hand. Please don't hesitate to ask about discounts if you want to purchase multiples. - $2.5
