Art Nouveau Sterling Cloisonne Enamel Pin ~ Hummingbird
This wonderful, detailed pin brooch is done in a cloisonne enamel with smooth painted sky and clouds background, and depicts a ruby-throated hummingbird, a bee or other flying insect, and tree branches. The border is done in a purple and yellow leafy vine motif. It has a very Art Nouveau look to it, although it is also reminiscent of some of the Chinese enameleds.
