Fantastic 1940's ceramic cow has a sleepy goofy expression. Unmarked Elzac, a California Pottery company that produced a number of these whimsical figural animal and people pins. This little gal has painted facial features and um, other features . . .and a tuft of fringed "hair" on top of head. 3" height. Excellent condition apart from very light surface crazing; pin back appears to be a replacement and is heavily glued though secure. - $100

Ruby Z / Candace Loheed ceramic bead necklace features a large spotted dinosaur (looks like a stegosaurus, or similar grazing type with bony plates along the back). Measures 4 1/4" across, 2 1/4" in height. Colors are pale pastels of mint green, blue and lavender, with black highlights, and color coordinate wit tubular, round and disc-shaped beads, all strung on nylon filament. The tubular beads have raised "cookie" polka dots. 23" length with screw-barrel clasp. Signature bead is marked both Ruby Z and Candace Loheed. Excellent condition with very mild surface crazing to the light-colored tubes. - $140

Reed & Barton Koala Bracelet & Pendant REED & BARTON produced wonderful Damascene jewelry, much of which incorporated birds and wildlife. This set which features a Mama Koala in a tree with Baby Koala on her back (a design repeated three times around the cuff), includes a cuff bracelet in its original box, and a large pendant. Both items are signed on the back. Bracelet measures 1" wide at the front, 2" inside width, and 1" opening with some give. Pendant is 2 1/4". Excellent condition, although the foam in the box is crumbling. - $75
Reproduction Coro Deer Drinking from Water Brooch
Inspired by the famous 1940's Coro brooch depicting a deer drinking from water, this contemporary piece is goldtone, set with clear and colored rhinestones. This is a very dimensional piece, with the deer actually standing on a base measuring 1/2" deep. Clear rhinestone baguettes are set all along the front of the base, blue rhinestone baguettes suggest a waterfall, and there are pink rhinestone flowerettes. Goldtone metal. Measures 2" in height and is in mint condition. - SOLD
GAYLES OF LAUGHTER Resin Necklace for the Dog Lover! Another GAYLES OF LAUGHTER artisan theme necklace -- this one for the dog lover who has everything -- called "Beware of Bitch." It is made of resin beads and figurals, including a large dimensional beribboned floppy-eared pooch, dog bones, a bowl of dog food, sacks of dog food, and (ahem) even a newspaper with a little "present" on top. There is a "Beware of Bitch" tag near the clasp, and though the artist Gayle did not sign this one, I know it to be her work. 25" in length. - $120
