This incredible Transitional necklace, with flowing elements of Art Nouveau design, is unmarked, but most likely Czech in origin. It comes with a black-and-white photograph of a young lady wearing the piece many years ago. I wish I could tell you about her, but the necklace was passed along with this photograph, and is just looking for someone to love it anew!
The centerpiece is constructed in tiers of ornate gilt filigree work, emerald green pastes, Peking glass mottled green cabochons and beaded drops. Total height of the centerpiece is 5 3/4". The neckpieces (20 3/4" total length) are composed of round and elliptical Peking glass mottled green beads, gilt filigree caps and square beads. Spring-ring clasp. There are two teensy little green beads missing toward the back of the neck, but it's very inconspicuous (and the beads can be easily removed if you want to even it up). Condition is otherwise excellent.
